Q. My graduate theses or doctoral dissertation is embargoed, but I can do a Google search and download the full document.
ASU theses and dissertations in the ASU Digital Repository are solely managed by the Graduate College at ASU. Requests for embargoing in the ASU Digital Repository must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Requesters must include their full name, ASU ID and the name of their document. Once Graduate Education receives that information, they will review the request.
ProQuest policies are separate from ASU. The ASU Graduate College does not provide an indefinite embargo to theses and dissertations in the ASU Digital Repository. Embargo extensions are given a 4 year maximum, requested in 2 year intervals. Graduate Education Staff will be able to answer any questions or concerns.
See the ASU Digital Repository: Theses, Dissertations & Student Works guide for additional information.
