Q. I heard that Open Science Framework (OSF) Projects are being phased out. What will happen to my OSF projects?

Answer

The Center for Open Science has announced that it will discontinue OSF Projects. For most OSF users, no action is needed. OSF will convert all current projects to read-only, making them accessible without the ability to make changes starting February 2027. The change will not affect registrations, preregistrations and preprints in OSF.

For students: ASU Library does not currently accept direct submissions of student work without a faculty or college-level sponsor. Students looking for a place to share scholarly work may consider Digication or Zenodo.
