Users departing the university still have ASURITE identities and single sign-on capability after they leave. However, they do not have access to all ASU provided resources that login gave them access to due to various policies and subscription contracts. We limit access to library subscription resources when you graduate or leave, but our repositories present a unique case where a person might need continued access after separating from the institution. We are still working through this question but if an owner of a Dataverse recognizes a user with an ASU ID they may be able to provide continued access for contributing to their respective dataverses, but this may not carry over to external contributors who’s temporary IDs have expired and not been renewed.
