Q. Can I request textbooks through Interlibrary Loan?

Answer

Interlibrary Loan is available for borrowing items that supplement learning, teaching, or research, not for general course study materials such as textbooks. Due to the high demand of textbook titles both at ASU and other outside institutions, attempts to borrow current editions of textbooks normally takes longer and are frequently unsuccessful. Also, Interlibrary Loan due dates are short and will not cover a full semester use.

Instead, we recommend purchasing or renting your textbooks.
