Q. Where can I get support for paying open access article publishing charges (APCs)?

The ASU Library is able to provide discounts on APCs with certain publishers as a result of our partnerships and subscriptions. For a complete current list and support details, see Open Access Publishing Discounts for ASU Authors.

  • Note: ASU Library does not have the ability to support APCs outside of these partnerships.

Many research sponsors will allow APC charges to be paid from grant funds.

  • If you are not funded, here are other options to try:
    • Ask for support from your department.
    • Request a waiver from the journal.
